MICHAEL FORDECZKA Born in Winnipeg, MB, May 15, 1921. Passed away peacefully February 18, 2004 surrounded by his loving family at Cottonwoods Extended Care Unit E., Kelowna, BC after a lengthy and courageous illness. Survived by his loving wife of 55 years Helen; daughters, Barbara Cooper (Dennis) of Winfield, BC, Karen Kuslak (Jim) of Winnipeg and Sandy (Tim) of Okanagan Centre, BC; son Gary of Winfield, BC; grandson Shawn Cooper of Kelowna, BC. Also survived by sisters, Mary Nielsen of Winnipeg and Olivia Emery of Calgary; sister-in-law Earlene Fordeczka of Mission, BC and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents, Anna and Fred; brothers, Walter and George and sister Chris. Special thanks to Dr. T. Murphy and Dr. D. Cameron for all their care over the years. Heartfelt thanks from all the family to the staff on Unit E at Cottonwoods for their compassionate caring dedication to our husband and father Michael. You are truly special people who will never be forgotten.
