MARY MAIR (Johnsen) Peacefully on February 19, 2004 at Oakview Place Mary Mair, 88 years passed away. Born in Edrans, MB and moving to St. James she married James, who predeceased her in 1986. To cherish her memory are five children, Tom (Marian), Joan Montieth, Ken (Joan), Jim (Louise), Laura Schnellert, 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, her brothers George (Agnes), Harold, sister Alice Siegel and many nephews and nieces. Mom was truly devoted to her family and friends. Her gifts of caring and compassion were exemplified in that devotion and by the many hours of volunteer work generously given to various groups and charitable organizations. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 24 at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Avenue, Aubrey Street entrance. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Cerebral Palsy Association of Manitoba, 1060 Ellice Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3G 0C9.
