Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPATRICIA ANNE MUNRO (nee BREAULT) July 18, 1939 - February 16, 2004 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother. After a long and courageous battle with Ovarian Cancer, Mum passed peacefully at Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto. Pat was an incredible and loving mother to Jennifer Anne and Andrew (Jennifer Scott) former wife of the late Don Munro; sweet Nana of Avalon and Ridley; Daughter of Anna and the late Orval Breault (Baldur, MB) dear sister to Elaine (Allen) Hammond (Kingston), Gail (Elwin) Ballantine (Winnipeg), Dewain (Karen) Breault (Moose Jaw), Carol (Terry) Dartnell (The Pas) and Joan (Al) Hopper (Vancouver) dear sister-in-law of Barbara Steer (Toronto), Margaret Brackstone (Edmonton) and Eleanor (Stew) Freeman (Vancouver). Pat was a very special woman, a mother figure to many, always understanding with a wonderful philosophy about life, she set a good example of how to be a strong and caring person. Born on the family farm near Baldur, MB, Pat went to school in Greenway, Baldur and Brandon before moving to Olds, AB. Pat was the Assistant Dean of Woman at Alberta College before marrying in Baldur and moving to Toronto. Pat had a long career in social service and was a cherished friend and mentor to many women. Pat retired as Executive Director for George Herman in 2001. We welcome all who knew Mum to join us for a Life Celebration, 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Good Friday, April 9, 2004 at Enoch Turner Schoolhouse, 106 Trinity St., Toronto, 416-863-0010. At Mums request, in lieu of flowers, a memorial donation in her name would be appreciated to the National Ovarian Cancer Association 1-877-413-7970.
