Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCHARLES GRANT WILSON Charlie passed away at Peace Arch Hospital, White Rock, BC on February 15, 2004 at the age of 89 years after a lengthy illness. His wife Gwen predeceased him in 1999. Charlie was born in Montreal. He spent most of his adult years in Winnipeg. A graduate of St. Johns College, Winnipeg and Royal Military College, Kingston, Charlie served Canada in the R.C.A.F. during the 1939 to 1945 War. Over the years he was a member of the Winnipeg Winter Club, Tuxedo Lawn Bowling Club and Elmhurst Golf and Country Club. Following 41 years of distinguished service with The Hudsons Bay Company, Charlie retired from his position as Executive Assistant to the General Manager of the Northern Stores Department. He and Gwen moved to White Rock in 1987. Charlie is survived by his brother George and family, his sister-in-law Johanna and family, the family of his late brother Robert, his brother-in-law Jeffry, and his brother-in-law Richard and family. Interment will take place at a later date at St. Johns Cathedral Cemetery in Winnipeg during which a private family service will be observed.
