Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY ALICE BOYCHUK Peacefully on Thursday, February 19, 2004, at St. Boniface Hospital, Mary Boychuk passed away at the age of 86 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Ron Boychuk (Jeanne) of Brandon, MB; grandchildren, Craig Boychuk and Leana Boychuk; sisters, Verna (Paul) Welechenko, Susan Lysy and Alma Repka; numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her first husband Jim Boychuk; second husband John Boychuk; brothers, Joe, Walter, George, and Bill; sisters, Stella and Love; parents, Annie and Wasyl Yourchek. Mary was born in Makaroff, MB on December 4, 1917. She completed her education in Makaroff and afterwards completed her training as a hairdresser. She moved to Norquay, SK to pursue her profession. She married Jim Boychuk and resided in Kamsack, SK. After Jim passed away she moved to Roblin with her son Ron and continued her profession with sisters, Love and Stella. In 1972 she married John Boychuk and they resided in Calgary, AB. After four years she was widowed. In 1996 Mary moved to Winnipeg to be near her family. Her last residence was at Villa Cabrini where she had a very fulfilling life. She enjoyed participating in various activities and especially valued her relationship with her friends there. She will be lovingly remembered by all the people whose lives she touched. Everyone attending the service will be considered honorary pallbearers. Prayers will be held on Tuesday, February 24, at 7:00 p.m. at Holy Family Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1001 Grant Ave. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 25, at 10:00 a.m. also at Holy Family Church with Rev. Fr. Mark Gnutel officiating. Interment will take place on Thursday, February 26, at 2:00 p.m. in the Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery in Roblin, MB. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff on Ward 6E, Sister Jeannine Corbeil, Fr. John Mostivsky, Fr.Terry Cherwick and Fr. Mark Gnutel. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Marys memory to the Manitoba Lung Association or to the Holy Family Ukrainian Catholic Church. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
