BERTHA ROSINA McKEE (nee JONES) 1911-2004 Peacefully, with her husband and son Robert at her side, Bertha McKee, age 92, passed away on February 20, 2004 at Oakview Place. Bertha was predeceased by her parents and eight siblings. She leaves to mourn her husband Robert of 68 years; sons, Robert (Jo), Michael (Anne-Marie) and Peter (Wendy) grandchildren, Chris, Timothy, Darcie, Taylor, Danielle and Tom; one great-grandchild Madison. Bertha will be remembered for her love of nature, and her superb sewing and knitting abilities. She enjoyed the game of golf and she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. The family wishes to express thanks to the staff of Grace Hospital and Oakview Place for the care shown to Bertha. Memorial service for Bertha will be held on Thursday, February 26, at 12:30 p.m., at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers, should friends so desire, make a donation to a charity of their choice.
