HELEN VIOLET (JOHNSON) WELSH October 25, 1928 - February 20, 2004 Peacefully on February 20, 2004 at the Hunter Memorial Hospital, Teulon, Violet Welsh, aged 75 years of Teulon, MB passed away. I was born in Lundar, MB on October 25, 1928 to Oscar and Hilma Johnson of Lillesve, MB, a sister to Edwin and Gust Johnson. Went to school in Morning Star and Buffalo Lake Schools. Was married July 12, 1947 in St. Boniface Cathedral. Lived at Burnt Lake until 1980 when moved to village of Chatfield. Husband Frank passed away in 1998. I moved to Teulon that year. The years since then have been spent battling with cancer. I give special thanks to my many good friends who have stood by me and helped through these years, also thanks and goodbye to all my friends everywhere that I met at bingo games and other social affairs through the years. To everyone - be happy, enjoy yourselves while you can - you come to this world with empty hands, and you leave with the same amount. My last wishes are direct cremation, no service. Remember me as we last had fun together. Mom will be sadly missed by daughter Joan (Ray) son Tony (Orlene) grandchildren, Kevin (Jona), Christopher (Jenn) and their children; brother Gust Johnson of Thunder Bay and also many relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents and brother Edwin. We sincerely thank all of moms dear friends for their prayers and kindness during her times of need.
