STELLA DAVIDSON It is with great sadness that the family of Stella Davidson announces her passing on February 21, 2004 at the age of 85, at Beacon Hill Lodge. Stella was born in Torbay, NF on May 4, 1918 and met Bert Davidson while he was serving there in the Air Force. They were married November 18, 1942 and moved to Oakview, MB to farm. In 1953, due to Berts illness, she moved to Winnipeg. Stella raised her children on Morley Avenue since it was close to the Municipal hospitals where Bert lived until his passing in 1981. She remained in her home until the age of 83 with per pal Tiger. She enjoyed numerous trips to Newfoundland and Las Vegas with family over the years. Stella was predeceased by her loving husband Bert. She is survived by her children, Bill, Drewe, Wayne (Gloria), Linda (Dennis) and Dayle (Dave) daughters-in-law, Eileen and Heidi; grandchildren, Dianna, Daniel (Shaleen), Bradley, Brianne, Kyle, Krystle and Charles; great-grandchild Cole; sisters, Evelyn and Doris; brother-in-law Peter Davidson; sister-in-law Angelica Steele and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 28 at 2:00 p.m. at the Siglunes Community Hall with Rev. Melanie Kauppila officiating. Interment to follow in the Oakview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mac Davidson, Harry Davidson, Mike Leitold, Bradley Davidson, Kyle Davidson and Charles Davidson. Special thanks to the wonderful and loving staff on the 3rd floor at Beacon Hill Lodge. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent Rd., Winnipeg, MB R2L 1X3.
