MICHAEL LINDELL It is with deepest sorrow that we announce that Michael Angelo Lindell passed away at the Health Sciences Centre on February 22, 2004 following a pedestrian motor vehicle accident. Michael was born December 10, 1985 and was raised in Warren, MB. He was full of life and could always be found in the midst of friends, working on their vehicles, cruising around town and working out religiously to build muscles. He was full of hopes and dreams, and life had just begun. Mike was a much loved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. He had a quiet strength, a sharp wit, and ready laughter. Mike made friends easily and collected many while he attended Warren Elementary, then Warren Collegiate and briefly Resurrection Catholic Secondary Schools in Waterloo. He was a fiercely loyal and trusted friend. His passion was cars, especially his 75 Nova SS. Mike purchased the Nova when he was 14 years old and with the help of a special friend, Kevin Bryce, rebuilt the engine and everything else under the hood meticulously. He was in the process of restoring the exterior of his car. Mike could be heard for miles when he took his Nova out for a spin. Mike will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Terry and Fran Lindell; brother Charles; grandmothers, Lionella Piasentin and Etta Lundquist; Frans sisters, Lucy (Peter) Nottegar (and their family Sandra (George), Marco (Christine) (and family Peter, Alex and Claire, Pasqua (Jack) Crossilla, Wanda (Regis) Bauer (and their family Elizabeth, Andy, Tim and Monica) Terrys brothers, Ken (Dolly) (and their family Erika, Lynette, Meagan, Ashley), Les (Dawn) (and their family Marnie (Richard) (and family Damian, Emma, Grace), Eddie (Susan) (and family Cameron, Carmen, Tyler) sister-in-law Denise (Bruce), Reid (Sherry) (and their family Scott, Samantha, Kirk, Clark, Paige), Dwight (Brooke and Shayla) and many other family and friends. He was predeceased by his grandfathers, Angelo Piasentin, Edwin Lindell. A celebration of Mikes life will be held Thursday, February 26 at the Warren Memorial Hall at 1:00 p.m. with interment at the Warren Cemetery. Prayers and viewing will be Wednesday, February 25, at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the MS Society of Manitoba. Mikes spirit continues with his gift of life through the donation of organs. We know that despite this tragedy that other lives have been enriched. The family would like to thank everyone for their love and support through this difficult time. We would like to express our gratitude to the special people at the Health Sciences Centre, the MICU and Emergency Department staff, Dr. Rosser, Dr. West, Junanne, Theresa, Deb L., Fran F., Chris M., Leisa G., Karla F. and to special friends, Shelley MacGillivray, Penny Oliver, and Terry Mills and numerous other friends of Michael whose kindness was evident in their words and deeds.
