WILLEMINA VAN DEN BERG (nee BROEKSMA) Born June 6, 1927 in Enschede, Netherlands, Willemina Van den Berg went to be with her heavenly Father on February 22, 2004. She was predeceased by her son Peter Van den Berg and her parents. She will be sadly missed by her husband Hendrik (Henk) Van den Berg and children, Wilma and Joe Staska, Toni and Andrew Van den Akker, Tini and Jack Groenheide, Rita and Gary Marlink, Joann and Paul Heppner, Harry and Sharon Van den Berg, Rick and Judy Van den Berg, Marian and Reynold Hilderbrand; daughter-in-law Joyce Van den Berg, 34 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She is also survived by her sister Jo Maarhuis; niece Atie Brakel (and family) and extended family in Holland. Willemina will be remembered as a devoted wife of 53 years, mother, Oma and a Godly Christian woman. She was blessed with many gifts including needle work and blessed others with gifts of her handiwork. The family would like to thank Dr. B. Kowaluk. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 26 at 2:00 p.m. at the Covenant Christian Reformed Church, 653 Knowles Ave. Private family interment will take place in Green Acres Memorial Gardens.
