MURIEL WELLS 1928 - 2004 The Rose Beyond the Wall A Rose once grew where all could see, Sheltered beside a garden wall, And as the days passed swiftly by, It spread its branches, straight and tall. One day, a beam of light shone through a crevice that had opened wide, The Rose bent gently towards its warmth Then passed to the other side. Now, We, Who deeply mourn its loss, Are comforted - The Rose blooms there- Its beauty even greater now, Nurtured by Gods own loving care. Our beloved wife, mother, sister, And best friend is free, free to run and jump And sing, and dance and laugh, for as long And as loud as she wants. Muriel Wells (nee Hamblin) beloved wife of Alfred for just over 55 years; mother to Karen Leguee, Dianne (Gerald) Grabon and Ken; grandmother to Rendy (Michelle) and Barbara Leguee, Angela (Don), Bonnie and Jeremy Grabon; great-grandmother to Breanna and Colt Leguee; sister to Carrol (Joe) Wronski and Mama to Chrissy; passed away peacefully on February 21, 2004. According to Muriels wishes no service will be held. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations in her name may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society or to a charity of your choice.
