ELFRIEDA (TEEDIE/ALFIE) (nee KRAHN) BROWNLEE 1947 - 2004 Elfrieda Brownlee, beloved wife of Al and cherished mother of Jason, passed away at home on Saturday, February 14, 2004, at the age of 56 years. Teedie will be sadly missed by her mother Nettie Krahn of Grunthal, MB; sisters, Sue (Herman) Hildebrand, Hilda (Albert) Toews, and Irene (Henry) Kroeker, all of Winnipeg and Elsie (Jake) Harms of Steinbach, MB. Alfie will also be mourned by brother-in-law Brent (Carol) Brownlee; father-in-law Jim (Annette) Brownlee; and sister-in-law Monette Brownlee, all of Edmonton, AB. Her nieces and nephews will miss "Tante Teedie" "Aunty Alfie", Adrianna and Michelle Brownlee of Edmonton, AB, Debbie (Terry) Gallinger, Donna (David) Holm, Karen (Ray) Mills, Vicki (Dan) Boyle, Laura (Gregg) Martin, and David (Deanna) Kroeker, all of Winnipeg, Marilyn (Chan) Motlong of Sioux Narrows, ON, Jackie (Glen) Mikkelson, and Sheila and Carla Harms. Teedie/Alfie had many special friends across the country including Simona (Don) Morrow, Bonnie (Jim) Buchanan all of Kelowna, BC; Jim (Jan) Murphy, Joe (Emilia) Vogrincic, all of Calgary, AB, and Sandy (Tony) Lucki, Gloria (Merlin) Materi and David (Amy) Main all of Winnipeg. Alfs many dear ski, lake, childhood and Manitoba friends are just too numerous to mention - you know who you are! Elfriedas successful corporate years were culminated as a Senior Account Manager at the Mercantile Bank, then Super Mom followed by Ski Mom Extraordinaire, while continuing to be a gracious hostess with her many dinner parties and out-of-town guests. Funeral Services were held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAYS Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E., Calgary, AB) on Monday, February 23 at 2:30 p.m. and will be followed by a second service in Grunthal, MB on Saturday, February 28 at 2:30 p.m. in the Elim Church on Main Street.
