Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHECTOR ROBIDOUX Peacefully, and surrounded by his family, Hector passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2004 at the age of 81 after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Hector will be lovingly remembered by his children, Muriel (David Coates) and Kristopher; Gilles (Marianne Van de Spiegle) and Stephanie, Ashley, Chelsea, Luc and Brittany; Jocelyne; and Nicole (Luc Therrien) and Dominique, Nathaniel and Tristan. He also leaves his sister, Sr. Juliette; two brothers, Hubert (Therese) and Ben (Lucille) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Denise (Mangin) his parents, Fortunat and Aurore (Dubuc) and his sister Marie-Rose. Hector was raised on a farm in Bruxelles, MB. He lived on the family homestead until he moved to Holland, MB in 1987. Farming was his passion and he continued to work with Gilles until just prior to his passing. Along with his strong work ethic, he always maintained a unique sense of humour and playfulness. Although he was an avid fan of the Montreal Canadiens, he preferred watching his grandchildren play hockey and baseball, and will always be their most devoted fan. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Cherneski and the entire staff on GH4 at the HSC for the wonderful care and support we all received, as well as the nursing staff in Swan Lake. Prayers will take place at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 27 at St. John Berchmans Catholic Church in Holland. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 28 at St. Gerards Roman Catholic Church, Bruxelles. Flowers are gratefully declined. If so desired, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Papa we love you!
