Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryZOFIA BIALOWAS January 24, 1914 - February 25, 2004 Peacefully on February 25, 2004, at her residence with her family at her side Zofia passed away at the age of 90 years. Zofia leaves to cherish her memory, her two daughters, Helena (Henryk) Piec, Eva (Richard) Zmitrowicz; her sons, Czeslaw (Barbara) of Winnipeg, Szczepan (Zofia) of Poland; her grandchildren, Andrew (Irena), Anna, Martin (Linsi), Zbyszek (Marzena), Krystyna (Jurek), Konrad, Peter (Micky), Tom, Brian all of Winnipeg, Wieslaw (Elzbieta), Adam (Annetta) of Poland; 14 great-grandchildren. Zofia also leaves son-in-law Jan and brother-in-law Mikolaj (Czaslawa). She was predeceased by husband Piotr; daughter Stefania; grandchildren, Mark and Vanessa. Zofia was born in Poland and immigrated to Canada in 1969. She was a very kind person, who was always willing to help others. Mom enjoyed spending time with her family, she especially enjoyed cooking and baking for them. She was an active member of the Catholic Womens League at the Holy Ghost Church. Prayers will be said on Sunday, February 29 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 1 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave. with an Oblate Father officiating. Interment to follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery. The family would like to thank Irena, her primary home care worker, and also Maria for the wonderful support and caring of our mother. Thank you also to Maureen (coordinator) and the rest of the home care staff. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Zofias memory to a charity of your choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
