Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRANK SAGRIFF May 4, 1920 - February 25, 2004 After a lengthy illness, Frank Sagriff passed away at the Oakview Place Personal Care Home on February 25, 2004 at the age of 83. Frank was predeceased by his loving wife of 51 years Rosemary, daughter Darlene, son Daniel and granddaughter Laura. He leaves to mourn his passing and to cherish his memory his children, Jim (Colleen), Bonnie (Dave), John (Joyce) and Steve (Cheryl) grandchildren, Christine, Jeffrey, Kerrie, Jennifer, Shelly, Bobby, Crystal, Tammy, Bonnie, Melissa and Michael. He is also survived by his sisters, Vera, Shirley and Doris; as well as numerous other relatives and dear friends. Frank was a founding member of the Father Allan Hall Council of the Knights of Columbus and a longtime member of the A.N.A.F. He joined the R.C.A.F. in 1939. After achieving the rank of W.O. 2, he retired from the service in 1968. He then started a career as fire chief with the department of transport in 1968. Being an avid sportsman, he also owned and operated a hunting and fishing lodge. Following his retirement from the D.O.T. in 1985, he continued with this venture, hunting and fishing and doing the things he loved. Frank will be remembered as a kind and generous man who always gave freely of his time and resources to his family and various charitable causes. He loved travelling, music and laughing. He will be dearly missed. Prayers will be held Sunday, February 29 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Charles Roman Catholic Church, 320 St. Charles St. Mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 1 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Charles Roman Catholic Church.
