ADA MAY SCHMIDT It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of our mother, Ada May Schmidt (nee England) on Wednesday, February 25, 2004, at the Seven Oaks General Hospital. Mom was predeceased by her husband John Francis Schmidt. She is survived by her children, Wesley Schmidt (California), Shirley Geib (Selkirk, MB), Jacqueline (Lawrence) Hewitt (Denver, CO), Lorraine (Crawford) Jack, Norman (Karen) Schmidt (Winnipeg, MB) her two sisters, Mary and Sally of B.C.; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; as well as many nieces and nephews. Ada was born on April 10, 1907 in North Sidney, NS. As one of Jehovahs Witnesses she had faith in the promise of the Bibles earthly paradise at Revelation 21:3,4: And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 1 at 2:00 p.m. in Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Ave. Adas memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 6 at 2:00 p.m. in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, 1877 Inkster Blvd. Our family would like to thank all the nurses at Seven Oaks Hospital for their loving care in Moms last days. Thank you to all the staff at Fred Douglas Lodge and to Rachel who remembered Mom all those years. Also, thanks to the many friends who took turns feeding Mom her meals and visiting her. We will miss you, Mom, our sweetie Grandma. Love, your family. WOJCIKS ALL BELIEFS & FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM 897 - 4665
