WILHELM "WILLIE" ROHLOFF It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Wilhelm "Willie" Rohloff on Wednesday, February 25, 2004 at the Pembina Place Mennonite Personal Care Home at the age of 77 years. Willie was born on March 31, 1926 in Golden Bay, MB. In 1930, the family moved to Winnipeg, where he received his education. For many, many years, he was an active and devoted member of his church until its closure. His two interests outside of church were country music and reading his daily newspaper. Left to cherish his memory are brothers, George and Ernie; sister Doreen and brother-in-law Henry Reske; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his mother Annie, father Fred, sister Elsie Bosowec, brother-in-law Kon Bosowec and sister-in-law Kay Rohloff. Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 1 at 2:00 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church, 403 - 1st St. North, Beausejour, MB with Pastor Hugh Laidlaw officiating. Friends may view prior to the service. Interment will follow at the Golden Bay cemetery. Willie was a kind, thoughtful person, giving all and asking for little in return.
