DAVID UNRAU David passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 25, 2004 at the Fort Garry Care Centre in Winnipeg. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Florence of Winnipeg; all seven children and their spouses, Carol (Richard) Fehr of St. Thomas, ON, Harv (Carol) Unraw of Winnipeg, Bev (Jim) Phillips of Kelowna, BC, Dorothy (Dan) Shewchuk of Vernon, BC, Randy (Rhonda) Unrau of Edmonton, AB, Bonnie (Darrell) Eidse of Morris, and Kim (Steve) Bourque of Shilo. As well, he is survived by 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, one brother and four sisters. David was born in Plum Coulee and spent his childhood in Hilton and Killarney before moving to Morden where he married his wife Florence and started their family. David and Florence moved to Winnipeg in 1948 where David spent 37 years with the Fort Garry School Division. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered. The family extends a special thanks to the staff of the Fort Garry Care Centre for their loving care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Davids name to Alzheimer Society of Winnipeg, 10-120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2. Viewing will be held on Friday, February 27 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Funeral services will follow on Saturday, February 28 at 12:30 p.m at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home.
