Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHERMANN JOSEPH BEAUBRUN 1935 - 2004 Peacefully, on Friday, February 27, 2004 at Victoria General Hospital, Hermann Joseph Beaubrun while in his wifes arms, breathed his last to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Hermann passed away at the youthful age of 68. Hermann was predeceased by his father Mariane, his mother Catherine, brother Marc, brother Lionel, and sister Alourde. His memory will live on through his wife of 34 years Marie-Ange Andrea, his sons Schubert (Janique), Arnel (Andrea), and his "ptite princess", daughter Nadege. Also to miss him will be his eldest son Jean Murat Georges (Jagoyle) and sister Immacula. Hermann was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti where he was a highly respected French and Math Teacher who taught primary education to numerous youths for many years after humble beginnings before immigrating to Canada. It was not until the late 60s that "Papis" life awakened when he came to know our Lord Jesus while in his former native country. Dad served as a deacon and ministered to others this Good News with his then young family at LEglise de DIEU (Church of GOD) in Montreal, QC before moving and settling in Winnipeg to raise his family. Hermann called many evangelical churches home and once again after retirement renewed his passion for active ministry at the Church of the Rock. His spirit of joy to see others come to know the truth about our purpose on earth will continue within us and his future sons and daughters. Pastor Keith Eberhard will preside over a Wednesday, March 3 funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at the Garry Memorial Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. An interment and a reception are to follow. We would like to extend our heartfelt blessings and gratefulness to the Emergency Unit and ICU staff at the Victoria General Hospital for their compassionate and committed care of our precious Hermann. Fear not, for we will be strong and courageous. Thank you, Hermann. Youve finished your race well and we will see you at the Trumpet Call!
