MARIA LUBIANSKY It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother. Maria Lubiansky died Sunday, December 28, 2003, in Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock, BC. Maria was born July 11, 1925 in the town of Yanova, Ternopol, Western Ukraine. She came to Canada in 1965 with her son Bohdan (Bob) and resided in Winnipeg. That same year she married Matthew Lubiansky who had two daughters Lisia and Teresa. Maria worked with her husband at National Clock Ltd. in Winnipeg. Maria also worked as a Home Support Worker from 1980 to 1988 where she cared for the elderly. After the passing of her dear husband in 1988 she moved closer to her children and grandchildren who reside in White Rock, BC. There she lived happily, helping to raise her grandchildren Lana and Justin. Maria leaves behind to cherish her memory son Bob Bezubiak, wife Karen and her pride and joy, Lana and Justin. Daughter Teresa and son-in-law Leszek Janiak, as well as a daughter Lisia of San Francisco, California. Left behind also is sister-in-law Martha Stelmaschuck; nephew Walter, wife Katherine, daughter Stephanie, and niece Halina and husband Nigel Suthern. Funeral services were held January 2, 2004 in White Rock, BC. VICHNAYA PAMYAT Rest in peace dear Mother and Baba. You will always be in our hearts and prayers.
