FRANK LUKOVICH It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Frank Lukovich, formerly of Winnipeg, at the Delta Hospital in Ladner, BC on February 21, 2004 at the age of 91 years. Dad was born on October 7, 1912 in Poland and moved to Canada in 1928. He worked for the T. Eaton Company as a furniture refinisher and retired in 1977. In 1991 Mom and Dad moved to Tsawwassen, BC where Dad continued to enjoy sports, walking, playing cribbage and generally being a friend to all. Above all, he was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Remaining to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 61 years Mary; his son Ted and daughter-in-law Joan of Winnipeg; his son Jeff and daughter-in-law Cathy of Tsawwassen; and three granddaughters, Jennifer of Winnipeg, Danielle (husband Brian Bedford) of Thunder Bay, ON and Kristen of Vancouver, BC. Dad was predeceased by his beloved daughter Donna; his parents, John and Maria; his brothers, Walter and Mike; his brothers-in law, Peter Benzelock and Bob Hodges; and his nephew Rick Hodges. He also leaves sisters-in-law, Margaret Lukowitch of Gravenhurst, ON, Mildred Lukowich and Nettie Benzelock of Winnipeg, Ollie Hodges of Cobble Hill, BC; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Al and Joanne Malbranck of Winnipeg and Joe and Ellen Kondrat of Vernon, BC besides several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on March 10, 2004 in Ladner. Interment will take place at a later date at All Saints Cemetery in Winnipeg.
