GERALD ROBERT NASSER October 20, 1927 - February 26, 2004 Peacefully at home, with his loving family at his side, Gerry lost a courageous battle with cancer. Gerry was born and raised in Winnipeg, MB. He moved his family to Saanich in 1966. Gerry is survived by his wife of 55 years, Agnes; daughters, Susan (Dennis) Dyson, Lori (Brian) Spence and Joni Mosses (Darin) grandchildren, Michael, Crystal, Connor, Noah, Annalise, Nicholas and Brent all of Penticton, BC; sister, Shirley Johnston of Boissevain, MB; five sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law all of Winnipeg, MB; brother-in-law, Henry Bauer of Penticton; as well as several nieces and nephews. Gerry was in the car business for 37 years both in Winnipeg and Victoria taking early retirement in 1986. He was a member of Gorge Vale Golf Club for 30 years where he spent many pleasurable hours with his golf and coffee buddies, and special friends, George, John and Joe. Gerry was a jack-of-all trades and was only to willing to help friends and neighbours. At Gerrys request there will be no service, cremation. Special thanks to the Palliative Response Team from Hospice for all their compassionate and loving care. Also many thanks to the wonderful nurses of the Home Care Community Services.
