JAMES ZIMMERMAN Suddenly on Wednesday, February 25, 2004 we lost a loving dad, grandpa, great-grandpa, and friend. James F. Zimmerman (Jim), beloved husband of the late Olive Zimmerman (nee Bashford), passed away at his residence, the Wellesley, Victoria, BC at the age of 81 years. Jim leaves to mourn his passing and to cherish his loving memory, daughter, Judy Fraser of England; son Rod and wife Mary Zimmerman of Victoria, BC; and daughter, Luana and husband Ken Buchanan of Carman, MB; eight grandchildren, Tom (Roberta), Sarah (Tom), Samantha, Andy (Emma), Jeff (Madeleine Roberts) Lamarche, Kendra (Shawn) Vanbeselaere, T.J. (Janice) Burnett, and Brent Buchanan; five great-grandchildren, Jade Fraser, Justin Roberts, and Mackenzie, Deanna, and Renee Burnett; two sisters, Alice Taylor and Phylis (Herb) Busch; two brothers, Hank (Isobel) and Bob (Lorraine) Zimmerman; two sisters-in-law, Daisy Zimmerman and Ellen Piggott; brother-in-law, John Bashford; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Olive Zimmerman (nee Bashford) parents, Sid and Roseabelle Zimmerman; brother Stewart Zimmerman; and by two brothers-in-law, Orville Taylor and Pete Piggott. Funeral service will be held McCALL BROS. FLORAL CHAPEL, Johnson and Vancouver Streets, Victoria, on Wednesday, March 3 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at a later date in the Greenwood Cemetery, Carman, MB.
