CHRISTINE PROKOPET (nee DALKE) November 27, 1911 - February 27, 2004 Peacefully, on February 27, 2004 Christine passed away at the Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 92. Christine was predeceased by her husband of over 50 years, George. She was also predeceased by her son-in-law James, her five brothers, and her two sisters. Christine will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Barbara Glass and her son Gerald (Val) Prokopet of Calgary. Three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, Dianna (Rob) with R.J. and Garrett; Jason (Lisa) with Hannah and Anson; and Cameron (Marlee). Christine will also be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Christine was born and grew up in Golden Bay, MB. She moved to Winnipeg and met her husband whom she married in 1946. She spent most of her time living in West Kildonan where she raised her two children and was a member of St. Lukes Zion Lutheran church. Christine was a devoted wife and mother, in later years she loved to spend time with her grandchildren then her great-grandchildren. She will be missed for her wit and ability to warm peoples hearts. A private service will be held a later date. In lieu of flowers, donation in Christines name may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave. R3E 0V9.
