LORIE BARTHELETTE Lorie Barthelette, aged 38, passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital on Saturday, February 28, 2004. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Fred and Alice Homik and Victor and Alexina Barthelette. Remaining to cherish her memory is her mother Olga, father Maurice, brother Larry (Sylvia) Barthelette, and sister Leisa (Marlon) Dawiskiba, niece Ainsleigh Dawiskiba, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Lories many interests included cooking, crafts, music and sketching. Animals always held a special place in her heart, especially her dogs. Lories outgoing and dynamic personality reflected in all areas of her life. She touched many lives with her "big hearty laugh". If you couldnt find her, all you had to do was listen. The family would like to thank the staff on 5B at St. Boniface Hospital for their caring and thoughtful help given to Lorie. Special thanks to Lories close friends Caron and Dollard. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 4 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Viewing will be held one half-hour prior to the service. Interment and reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society, 4 Kent St., Winnipeg, MB R2L 1X3.
