"JOAN" JEANNE DARC SAVAGE Peacefully at the Grace Hospital on Wednesday, February 25, 2004 in her 70th year. Joan was the loving wife of the late Paul Savage; dear mother of Jocelyn Loewen (Kel), Ed Savage (Anne), Dan (Tina) Savage and Michelle Savage-Smith (Bill). Joan will be greatly missed by her eight grandchildren and two great-granddaughters. Beloved sister of Roy Wissell (Harvana), late Fernand Wissell (late Jackie), Dorothy Prpich (Frank), late Armand Wissell (Vera), Sally Leeman (Sanford), Florence Cloutier (Ray), Therese Leeman (late Bernard), late Flerette McCutcheon (Bob). Also survived by sister-in-law Estelle Servant (late Silvio) beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held for the family at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home in Winnipeg on Monday, March 1. Interment will be at the Greenwood Cemetery in Sault Ste Marie. Memorial contributions to the Cancer Society or the Lung Association or the charity of your choice would be appreciated. The family would like to thank the Ambulance and Paramedics in the Charleswood area for their quick responses; home care nurses (Dawn) and Home Care Aides (Barb and Cathy) for their on-going care and kindness. A special thanks to all the staff at the Grace Hospital, the specialists, nurses and everyone for their care and compassion shown to her and her family during her on-going illness.
