Mary was born August 4, 1923 in Lockport, the sixth of ten children. In 1945 she married Walter and together they fulfilled their dream of having their own farmstead to raise their family. Moms greatest joy was her family and thrived on having everyone together for any and all occasions. Her grandchildren were her greatest source of joy. Mom was the most kindhearted, loving, and giving person. Her life has had an impact on many who met her, by her gentleness, thoughtfulness, and her wonderful sense of humour. Mom will be sadly missed by all that knew her. Her earthly journey is now complete and we pray that her soul abide in blessedness, where there is neither pain nor suffering, in a place much more beautiful than can be thought of by the heart of man. With your graciousness come to honour her loving memory during her memorial service on Friday, March 5 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home. If friends so desire, donations may be made to Moms favourite charity, Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10-120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2. The family extends their sincere gratitude to all family and friends for their many acts of kindness, prayers, love and support; to the special homecare ladies, to the staff of the Concordia Hospital, especially Dr. Carey Isaac, and nurses, Ruth and Nicole whom cared for Mom so gently the last days of her life.
