Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH LANGLAIS (nee BIDULKA) Peacefully, after a long battle with Wilsons Disease, on March 1, 2004, Elizabeth passed away at the age of 48 years. She was predeceased by her maternal and paternal grandparents, and aunt and uncles. Elizabeth is survived by her husband Paul; daughter Marie; and son Daniel; parents, Morris and Rose Bidulka (Winnipeg) brothers, Jerome (Janora), nephews, Kyle and Christopher (Edmonton) Marvin (Linda), nephews, Mason and Logan (Calgary), Jim (Karen), niece Andreya, nephew Dylan (Calgary). She also leaves a sister Evelyn (Jay) Campbell (Winnipeg), and several aunts and uncles and numerous cousins. Elizabeth was born in Prince Albert, SK and completed her education there. She enjoyed life to the fullest, and was known for her musical ability, especially her beautiful voice. She had a fondness for children and volunteered in various activities. Upon relocating to Edmonton in 1977, a year later, Elizabeth met the man of her dreams, and married a year following. In 1986, they moved to northern Manitoba and raised their two children, where they lived until 1997. Lizs illness began to progress rapidly, so a move to Winnipeg was imminent for medical reasons. The family extends their thanks to the staff at the Health Sciences Centre, especially the G-D5 Ward, as well as to Fr. Fred Olds for his compassion. A celebration of her life will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 5 at St. Bernadette Roman Catholic Church, 820 Cottonwood Rd., with Fr. Fred Olds presiding. Interment will take place at St. Boniface Cemetery. Viewing will be held at 12:30 p.m. until the time of service. Liz will be greatly missed, but always remembered for her strength, perseverance, purity of hears, and sense of humour.
