WILLIAM SUMMERS SR. May 15, 1936 - March 1, 2004 Suddenly taken from us at 67 years, William passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital. William is predeceased by his wife Helen and a great-granddaughter. He is survived by his son William Isaac Summers (Barb) daughter Helen Mary Kohinski (Doug) son John Summers (Patti) 11 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and sister Shirley Pinchevsky. There is a bridge of golden memories, From here to heaven above. That keeps you very close to us, Its called the bridge of love. Your memory is our keepsake, With which well never part. God has you keeping. We have you in our hearts. Those we love dont go away, They walk beside us every day, Unseen, unheard, but always near. We will always hold his memory dear. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, We would walk right up to heaven, to be with you again. Always loved, and sadly missed, by your loving family and friends. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba, ON1160-675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 6 at 3:00 p.m., viewing at 2:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment and reception to follow.
