DAVID CARL WILLIAMS It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband and father, David Carl Williams, on March 1, 2004 at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 52 years. He leaves to mourn his wife and soul mate of 30 years Patricia; his daughter Nicole (Dean) his son Donavon; his sister Frances of England; his godson Alex (Mandy) Shewtchenko and goddaughter Jill (Jacob) Shewtchenko. He is also survived by numerous family members and close friends. David was predeceased by his parents, Myrtle and George Williams. David worked for over 20 years in the transportation industry, but for the last year was home taking care of his beloved pets Jack and Ripley. He loved animals, children and listening to the oldies especially the Beatles and every Saturday night was movie night at home. David had a wonderful sense of humour and shared a love of Bugs Bunny with his family but especially Nicole who together with him could recite the classic cartoons word for word. In the summer he loved to putter around in the garden and was already looking forward to sitting on the deck and enjoying the sun this year. The family wishes to thank the paramedics and especially the 2 staff members of Zellers on McPhillips who tried to help David at the time of his collapse. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Davids memory may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. At Davids request cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 6, at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
