JOHN GILBERT DELORME Peacefully on Tuesday, March 2, 2004 at the Eriksdale Hospital, John Delorme, beloved husband of Elva Delorme of St. Laurent, MB. Surviving to mourn his loss his wife Elva; daughters, Karen, Sharon; grandson Breyden; brothers, Peter, Alfie, Teddy, Art (Rose) sister Valerie; numerous nieces and nephews. John lived most of his life in St. Laurent. He worked as a driller at Standard Quarries in Stonewall. John enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, hunting and cutting wood. He had a special way of getting a smile on peoples faces and loved to tell stories. Prayers will be said at 10:30 a.m., Monday, March 8 with funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Laurent Roman Catholic Church. The service will conclude at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald St., Suite 200, Winnipeg, MB, R3L 0K6. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
