ALEX MOAR Peacefully, after a courageous battle with C.O.P.D., it is with deep regret that we announce the death of Alex Moar on Thursday, March 4, 2004, at the Deer Lodge Centre in Winnipeg, MB, at the age of 72 years. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Lucille; daughter Jennifer (Jeff) stepson Kenny; sisters, Mary (Gary), Dorothy (Jim), Emily, Marge and Nancy; brothers, Duke (Margaret), Charlie (Donna) and Hank; grandchildren, Keith (Penny), Nick, Braden and Kieran; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Alex was predeceased by his mother and father, Ruby and Alexander; and brother John Alfred Moar. Alex was born in Kinisota, MB on April 26, 1931. He worked at Lakehead Freightways for 20 years, then moving on to Dynamex until his retirement in November 1998. Alex enjoyed spending time with his two special grandsons, Braden and Kieran and having a game of cribbage with his family. At Alexs request, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Alexs life will be held on Tuesday, March 9 at 1:00 p.m. in Deer Lodge Centre, Worship Centre, 2nd Level, 2109 Portage Ave. Our family would like to thank all the nurses and staff at Deer Lodge 4 West, especially nurses, Helga, Blanche and Clarissa; as well as Dr. Warren for all of their special care and kindness.
