Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALVINA McIVOR (nee FUNK) It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Alvina McIvor at the age of 39, at home on March 1, 2004 in Tres Palmas, Paraguay. Alvina will be missed by her husband David; mother Judith Funk; brothers, Danny (Wilmer) and Harry (Linda) sisters, Alma (Franz), Verna (John), Gladys (Alvin) mother-in-law Mary; sisters-in-law, Sally (Tom) and Susan; brother-in-law Robert (Judy) and many nieces, nephews and friends in Paraguay, Steinbach and Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her first husband, Jake Kehler and her father, Andreas. Alvina was born on January 19, 1965 in Paraguay and moved to Manitoba with Jake in 1986. After Jakes death, Alvina worked at Kitchen Craft for 5 years where she developed many friendships. She and David also owned and operated the Clock Tower Cafe in Southdale for several years. In January 2001, Alvina and David moved to Paraguay to start a new life in the family business. Alvina constantly surrounded herself with her nieces, nephews and the many other children in her life who were so loved by her. The funeral has taken place in Paraguay.
