JONAS (JOHN) TANCSICS January 11, 1931- March 3, 2004 With great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our friend John who was called Home to his Heavenly rest on March 3 at the Selkirk General Hospital, at the age of 73 years. John was born in Hungary in 1931 and moved to Canada at an early age. He spent many years as a Registered Nurse at various places including Northern Manitoba until he retired due to health problems. With a heart of gold John collected friends from all walks of life. He enjoyed spending time in his yard filled with beautiful plants and flowers. Friends were always welcome. He loved to entertain and cook for us all. At Johns request, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, in care of arrangements.
