CHARLES WILFRED BUCHANAN Peacefully after a short stay Charlie passed way at the Concordia Hospital on Friday, March 5, 2004 He was born on July 28, 1924 and lived in Winnipeg his entire life. Charlie is survived by his soul mate Marion to whom he was married for 34 years. Also several cousins, nieces, nephews, brother in law and sister-in-law Bill and Verna Anderson. He was predeceased by his parents Lorne and Margaret and brothers Walter and Arthur. He spent 38 proud years at Eatons as a floorwalker and salesperson. He loved the outdoors and spent many happy hours fishing in the Big Whiteshell. After retirement he had 14 wonderful years with his best pal "Scrappie" who was at his side all the time. He also enjoyed golfing and especially the tournaments with Eatons Retirement Club. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association 102 - 310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6 or a charity of ones choice. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday March 10 at 2:30 p.m. in Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway, with interment at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
