Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM MALCOLM (Mac) McNAMARA 1918 - 2004 Veteran of the Second World War - RCAF Macs journey through life concluded on March 3, 2004 surrounded by his loved ones at home in Ottawa (formerly of Winnipeg, MB) following a short battle with cancer. Mac is survived by Muriel, his loving wife of 60 years and his four children, Carol of Ottawa, ON, Bill (Leslie) of Nanaimo, BC, Brian (Edna Schreiver) of Calgary, AB and Janice (Norm Funk) of Ottawa; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and his older sister Mildred Fairweather of Saint John, NB. A private family service and interment took place on March 5 at the National Military Cemetery of Canadian Forces in Ottawa, ON. The family would like to thank Dr. Edward Seale for his compassion and care given during this sad time. Mac, you touched the hearts of all who met you and you will be missed. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association.
