Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNAGEEB ALI AZIZ It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Nageeb Ali Aziz on March 3, 2004 after struggling through a long illness. Nageeb leaves behind his loving wife Carmen, sons, Jameel and Nabeel; daughters-in-law, Dawn (nee Burn) and Joyce (nee Meixner) and grandchildren, Devon, Fatima and Aden. Also left behind are his brother Dr. Jaffer Aziz and his wife Gill, seven nephews and their spouses and children. He leaves seven nieces, two nephews, their spouses and children in Aden, Yemen. Also left to grieve is mother-in-law, Kathleen Jackson, brother-in-law Michael Jackson of London England and sister-in-law Sandra Wright of Atlanta, GA. Nageeb was born in Aden, Yemen and immigrated to England with his brother in the early 60s to pursue a nursing career. There he met and married his loving wife Carmen and had two sons. Nageeb moved to Canada in 1970 and lived in various parts of Manitoba while working in several areas of nursing eventually becoming a nursing supervisor. He retired from Deer Lodge Centre as a Ward Coordinator on T-5 in 1995 and shortly thereafter moved to Nanaimo, BC in 1998 to begin enjoying his retirement and love of the outdoors and gardening in a more temperate climate. Nageeb enjoyed many activities with his newly made friends from the Nanaimo Horticulture Society and the Probus Club in Lantzville. His family would like to thank Dr. Vaughan, Dr. Williams, Dr. Calvin and the staff of the cancer Clinic and Palliative Care Ward. Memorial services will be held for Nageeb in Parkesville, BC at the Parkesville Funeral Chapel, 1000 Allsbrook Rd. on March 9 at 11:00 a.m.. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to a charity of your choice in Nageebs memory.
