MARY MUNROE NEILL (nee MacKICHAN) Peacefully on March 6, 2004 at the Charleswood Care Centre, Mary Neill, beloved wife of the late Bill Neill, passed away at the age of 93. Mary was born on September 18, 1910, the fifth child of the late Hannah and Frederick MacKichan. She was raised in Fort Rouge. Mary and Bill were married in 1939 and lived their later years in St. James. After retirement, they spent their winters in Florida, where they greatly enjoyed playing golf. Mary loved time with her family, and playing the piano. She was predeceased by her parents; brother Fairburn; and four sisters, Dugalda, Isabel, Winona and Mildred. She is survived by her brother, Ian, and his wife, Margaret, as well as many nieces, nephews and their families. Cremation has taken place. Interment will take place on Wednesday, March 10 at 10:30 a.m. at Brookside Cemetery, followed by a memorial service at 11:30 a.m. at Neil Bardal Inc., 985 Portage Ave. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Charleswood Care Centre for the wonderful care provided to Mary while she was a resident there.
