SUSAN SCHWEITZER Peacefully, on Saturday, March 6, 2004 at Concordia Hospital, Susan Schweitzer went home to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. She leaves to mourn her two daughters, Susan (Don) of Toronto and Rita of Winnipeg. She will be greatly missed by grandchildren, Laura, Donna and Richard of Toronto and Jason of Winnipeg. She leaves behind two sweet little great-granddaughters, Rachel and Nicole. She is survived by one sister Erna Penner of Germany, brother Peter Penner of Russia and niece Mary Schulz of Winnipeg and many nieces and nephews. Susan was active in the community, church and she operated her hairstyling and barbershop on Glenwood Crescent for 25 years. She loved barbering and the many customers that became her friends. Devoted to her family, she was always ready to help and share her many talents with them. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 11 at 11:00 a.m. at First Mennonite Church, 922 Notre Dame Ave. Interment will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Suite 200, 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
