TOBY PETER CRACKNELL October 24, 1957 - March 8, 2004 Toby was born in England, and died suddenly of a heart attack at Seven Oaks Hospital. He came to Winnipeg with his family in 1959. He was baptized and confirmed in the Anglican faith. After school, he worked for Skills Unlimited and Versatech. Most recently he worked at Zellers through St. James Assiniboia Industries. He is survived by his mother Margaret, brother Ian (Sherry) in California, sister Judith Campbell (Gordon) in Minnesota, sister Elizabeth Hnatiuk (Alan) in St. Andrews, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Alan in 2003. Toby faced many physical and mental challenges in his life, yet was always smiling and cheerful. The family would like to thank Shalom Group Home, and all the workers who were so good to him, for their loving care and the happiness he enjoyed in the home. The funeral service will be held in St. Annes Church, 253 Burrin Ave., on Friday, March 12 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shalom Residence Inc., 123 Matheson Ave., Winnipeg, R2W 0C3.
