AUDREY ANNE KEBER (nee MORLEY) August 28, 1932 - March 8, 2004 Surrounded by loving family, Audrey passed away on Monday, March 8, 2004 in Winnipeg, MB. She leaves many rich memories with her husband of 49 years Alf; their children and grandchildren, Don (Deb), with Jordan and Whitney of Red Deer, AB; Barb Jenken (Dan), and Reyna; Bob (Viv), with MacKenzie and Mitchell all of East St. Paul, MB; her sister Judy (Paul), Meraw and family of Leduc, AB; her sister-in-law, Dorothy (Ern), Flight of Winnipeg and family. She will also be missed by many cousins and friends. Recently, Moms journey came full circle when she made contact with her birth daughter, Aline (Don) of Saskatchewan and extended family. Audrey was predeceased by her parents William (Bill) and Isabel (Dolly), Morley and brother, David. Raised in Emerson, Audrey worked on switchboard all her life, first with MTS in Emerson and then in Winnipeg. After raising her children, she went back to work as a switchboard operator for Eatons for 20 years. Audrey also volunteered for CancerCare in their records office for over 15 years. Our homes are filled with her labors of love made by her numerous talents, be it knitting, crocheting, baking, paper toll and needlework. The warmth of her afghans will always be with us. Mom will always be remembered for her kind and gentle soul. Memorial services will be held on Friday, March 12 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home at 220 Hespeler Ave. (at Henderson Hwy). Private interment for immediate family only will follow at Brookside Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Breast Cancer Foundation (donation box and pledge cards will be available at the funeral home). Many thanks for all their support, Dr. Jeyakumar, Astrid and kind Oncology staff at Victoria Hospital. Thanks to Anne Ediger and WRHA staff.
