MIKE JUSKOW After a lengthy illness with emphysema, it is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend on March 13, 2004 at Victoria General Hospital at the age of 76. Mike worked at Federal Pioneer Electric (a.k.a. Pauwels) until his retirement. Many cherished memories will remain with us, his devotion to his family, his unfailing generosity, his warm hospitality, his never-ending love for companionship and his willingness to always help others were just a few of his wonderful qualities. Mike will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Cecile of 45 years; his daughter Darlene and son-in-law Rene Gousseau; son Terry and daughter-in-law Kelly Juskow; beloved grandsons, Shawn and Christopher; he is also remembered by his sisters, Betty (Len) Middleton, Frances Mosiewich, half-sister Madeline Lavallee; brothers, John (Kathy), Bill (Ann), Bronc (Barb) Juskow; also numerous brother and sister-in-laws; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Peter Juskow in 1959; mother Tekla Juskow in 1983; brothers, Edward and Frank Juskow in 1943; step-brother Peter Sawchuk in 1984. The family wishes to acknowledge the love, support and encouragement of his many relatives and friends. In accordance with Mikes wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial mass will be held on Tuesday, March 16 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Vital Roman Catholic Church, 1629 Pembina Hwy. at Manahan with Rev. Dr. Patrick Morand, J.C.D., celebrant. Interment to follow at Garry Memorial Gardens. The family would like to express their thanks to Dr. Taraska for years of care he gave to Mike. Special thanks to the home-care givers, Ray, Chris, Richard, Jules and Alex for the wonderful care and friendship they had provided.
