MARY MARGARET PELUK Peacefully, in her sleep, with her family by her side, our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, Mary Margaret Peluk passed away at the age of 95 years at East Gate Lodge, Beausejour on Wednesday, March 10, 2004. She was predeceased by her husband Steve in 1961 and son-in-law Paul in 1998; as well as her sister Carrie; brothers, Joe, Jack, Anton and step-sister Kay. She leaves to cherish her memory, son Ed; daughter-in-law Dolores; and daughter Rita; her grandchildren, Sandra (Rick), Shirley (Randy), Ron (Lori), Allan, David (Cynthia) great-grandchildren, Dana, Carly, Sydney, Evan, Ryan, Travis, Steven and Mark; step sisters, Helen, Beatrice, Josephine and step-brothers, Victor, Charlie and sister-in-law Ann Peluk. She was a strong lady who loved life, her family and the pleasures that her life brought her and was always willing to give a helping hand. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Schmidt and all the staff at East Gate Lodge for their care and compassion given to our mother. Special thanks to Mel for being there Sundays with Holy Communion. Prayers will be held on Friday, March 12 (tonight) at 6:00 p.m. at the Sobering Funeral Chapel, Beausejour. Divine liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, March 13 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Demetrius Parish, Ladywood, Rev. Fr. Taras Kowch officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers are all her grandsons. If desired, donations may be made to East Gate Lodge or a charity of ones choice.
