Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMICHAEL PHILLIP It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Phillip. He died peacefully on March 4, 2004 with his wife at his side after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Winnipeg on April 10, 1920. He served in the Canadian Army - Armoured Car Division. He began working as a court reporter in Winnipeg becoming in due course Chief Court Reporter for Manitoba. During retirement he enjoyed travel, gardening, skiing, tennis and golf. He is sadly missed by his wife Janet; daughter Lynn; son-in-law Ron Monk; and sister Sophie Dell. There is no service by request. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Cancer Society.
