VIOLET MAY PAISLEY June 5, 1913 - March 12, 2004 Violet passed away peacefully on Friday, March 12, 2004 at the Riverview Health Centre. Violet was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Arthur; her son, Thomas Arthur; and her brothers, Gordon, Art, Donald and Percy. She is survived by her son, James Allan; sisters, Helen, Grace (Bill) brothers, Tom (Stella) and Earl (Mary) three sisters-in-law, Margaret, Edna and Margaret; grandchildren, Cory, Kelly and Jill (Andrew). She also leaves numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Violet will be remembered fondly for the times spent picking berries with her grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Violets memory to the Alzheimer Society of Winnipeg, 10 - 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Riverview Health Centre for the special care given to Violet during her stay there. Viewing will take place on Tuesday, March 16 from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow on Wednesday, March 17 at 3:00 p.m. Interment and reception to follow.
