Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDITH BEATRICE PEEBLES It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our precious mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Edith Beatrice Peebles on Friday, March 12, 2004 at the age of 76 years. Edith was predeceased by her husband Radford; daughter Brenda; great-grandson Earl; mother and father Ida and Thomas Donald; four brothers and three sisters. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Linda (Charles) Freeman, Marilyn Peebles and Darall (Earl) Sinclair; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Clara Donald; niece Marge Clark and sisters-in-law, Mary Burston and Edith Peebles (Fluff) along with numerous nieces, nephews, friends and relatives. Mom worked in numerous places and for numerous people, but the work she did best was to make a loving home for her family. Nans door was open to all who needed a place to rest or converse. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 17 at 2:00 p.m. in the Little Britain United Church, Mapleton, MB, with Rev. Chris Bridgett officiating. Viewing will be held one hour prior to service time. Interment to follow in the churchyard cemetery. The family wishes to thank the Selkirk EMTs, nurses in emergency and Dr.Du Preez. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ediths memory to the Little Britain United Church Fund. Rest In Peace Dear Mom and Nan Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, in care of arrangements.
