RUTH E. MITCHELL 1908 - 2004 Peacefully on March 11, 2004 at Victoria General Hospital, a proud and dignified lady passed away at age of 95, after a brief illness. Born in Iowa, Ruth moved to Canada with her parents in 1910, residing in the Gray, Milestone area in Saskatchewan until taking up residence in Winnipeg in 1992. She was predeceased by her husband J. Winter, sister Lela and brothers Rex and Ron. She will be sadly missed by daughter Donna (George) Thomas, son Terry (Barbara) Mitchell of Battleford, Sask., grandchildren; Richard, Gregory, Paul and Brenna, four great grandchildren and brother Ross (Muriel) Houghtaling of Wawota, Sask. and several nephews and nieces. Cremation has taken place as per her request and interment will take place in Regina to rest with her beloved husband at a later date.
