CHRISTOPHER WILLIAM BONNEY It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Christopher William Bonney on March 9, 2004 at the age of 48 years in Genoa, Italy. He will be sadly missed. He is survived by his sons, David Christopher Leckie and Jason Grant; mother Margaret Bonney (Peggy) brother Bruce Bonney; niece Alexandria Bonney; cousins, Blair Riordan, Cheryl Popeil, Janice Leach, Randy, Barry, Dale and Tanis Manikel. Aunts and Uncles, Edward and Genevieve Manikel, John and Alma Riordan, Phyllis and Charles Hackett of Caledonia, NY, and numerous cousins in Ontario and Caledonia. Christopher is predeceased by his father Clarence Bonney in 1967. Chris attended Linwood School and St. James Collegiate following which he completed a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Winnipeg. He went on to obtain a Masters degree in Louisiana. Following school he practised as a child psychologist in Louisiana, Arkansas, British Columbia, The Yukon and most recently with the Child Guidance Clinic for the Winnipeg School Division. Chris was an avid bike rider and fisherman. He particularly enjoyed the mountains near his former home in Whitehorse, Yukon and the lake country in Manitobas Whiteshell Provincial Park. A memorial service will be held on Monday March 22 at 1:00 p.m. in Sturgeon Creek United Church, 207 Thompson Dr. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200 - 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3L 0K6.
