JOYCE GOLECKI On Monday, March 15, 2004, Joyce Golecki died peacefully in her sleep at the age of 72 years. She was predeceased by her parents, Nellie and Joseph and by her special aunt, Frances Kowerko. Left to mourn is her sister, Helen Chic (Stan) niece Joyce (Richard) Sydney and their children, Audrey, David and Stephanie; nephew Steve Chic (Janet) and their daughter, Kelsey; niece Valerie Loyer and her children, Wayne and Stacey; nephew Jim Chic and his children, Daniel, Jennifer and Heather and numerous other family members. At Aunties request, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Friday, March 19 at 1:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joyces memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 or the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1P6.
