MADELEINE CAROL REED Peacefully on March 13, 2004, Madeleine passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 67 years. Madeleine is survived by her husband George; children, Stanley (Marion), Katherine (Bill), Barbara (Ross), Bob (Irene) and Lorenda; stepchildren, Greg (Christine), Teena and Wendy (Charles) 25 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and Diane (Mike) Demile. She will also be missed by her many friends. She was predeceased by her mother Irene; sister Roxie (Bob) Welch and loving pet Randy Andy 1. Madeleine was born in Thunder Bay on September 17, 1936 and was raised in Port Hope. She was married to George for 28 wonderful years. She worked in the recovery room at the Health Sciences Centre and in the operating room at the Childrens Hospital for over 15 years. Madeleines great joys in life were her grandchildren, letter writing, crafts and her pets. The family would like to thank Dr. Shepertiky and the staff in the emergency department and on 5E ward at the St. Boniface Hospital. Also thank you to the neighbours for their support. A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 22 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Madeleines memory to the Anatomical Research Fund, 730 William Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E OW3 or to a charity of your choice.
